Salicylic Acid

Salicylic acid is a beta-hydroxy acid (BHA) derived from willow bark that works by dissolving the bonds between dead skin cells. Unlike water-soluble acids, it is oil-soluble, allowing it to penetrate deep into pores and break down the sebum and debris that cause congestion.

It is best suited for oily, acne-prone, and combination skin types. Regular use helps clear blackheads, whiteheads, and mild breakouts while smoothing uneven texture over time. Start with a low concentration (0.5–2%) a few times per week, then increase frequency as your skin adjusts. Always follow with SPF during the day.
